Triple Works - The New Jeans World Tour
-
OK, so yesterday was my last day with the Triple Works Would Tour jeans. Today they get washed and tomorrow will be sent off to Friday in Ghana, our first African leg of any of the World Tours I believe.
Here is an aerial shot of Portsmouth harbour. Portsmouth is to the right and Gosport is to the left. You can get between the 2 with a 3 minute ferry ride or a 17 mile road journey.
Last night I went for a stroll around the local area. We live on what was the Portsmouth based navy’s victualling yard www.johnsmilitaryhistory.com/clarence.html
Across this bridge, the Millenium bridge is Priddy’s Hard, which was where the Navy made all its munitions…
(Not my pic)
Some interesting stuff in here….

Here is the Grand magazine built in 1777…
Between each of these walls there used to be one small wooden hut, in each hut was one lucky man whose job was to fill shells with gunpowder. If he screwed up, all that happened is that him and the hut disintegtaed…
Another magazine…
Yes, there is another magazine under this lot….It was too small to be of any used and was never used to store gunpowder…
Ministry of Defence cost cutting measures…
Continuing the theme of if it goes bang, then give it to Gosport. The Navy also has it’s fuel depot here. These are full of diesel and aviation fuel…
This is one of our new Type 45 Destroyers, this is D34 - HMS Diamond. Each one costs a cool $1.6Billion and if you need to fill the gas tank up from empty, you’ll need just under $2Million…
When we retire warships over here, we take all the fluids out, grease them up and then put them in Rotten Row. Here are a few of our old Type 42 Destroyers, waiting for a war or a buyer…
My last wear of the WT’s…

Good stuff G. Certainly gave them a proper start. I am excited for Friday to give them a workout in Ghana!

Just a thought/reminder G Can we time these to be with me in august/Sept? I'd like to have em in the delivery room? Krissy is due Sept 2nd so anything around that date would cut it i think.
Thanks a lot I was thinking i would have em from aug1st to sept ?? maybe a week pass the normal WT leg
