Kat, how many pieces did you do throughout your stay in NYC?

One person a day for 7 days total (and sorry we weren't able to hook up…pretty non stop for me...next time!).
As for D666, couldn't ask to meet a better dude. He sat like a champ and his enthusiasm for the project and positive attitude really motivated me, and I look forward to more work together in the future (and it was super fun to geek out over Star Wars, whiskey and IH)...
And as for the legend Mr.MM...one of the smoothest dudes I've ever met. Cool as a cucumber and emits a serious aura of just being a quality human. Always a pleasure my man...

Just make sure you have thought it through mate the last thing you want to do is get something your gonna regret
I got a few random Americana pieces done around 10 years ago and I hate them now ( young and stupid )so I'm getting lazer work done to lighten them down so I can have them covered ( the guy said I would never get rid of them because of all the heavy colour ) -

great stuff in this thread..some close up of my right arm for you ink lovers, the inner part of my upper right arm is not yet covered but will be done in the next few months and then I will finish the left arm loving tattoos as long as I can remember and got my first with 16. And I have other projects in pipeline for legs and chest part…but that needs time

Hmm, I'm going to London in September, and I'm still considering getting a "foreign" tattoo (yes, I have read too much John Irving). Anyone has suggestions for a tattoo artist in London or within 40-45 minutes? The biggest "problem"/drawback with getting a tattoo abroad is that i have no idea who's good or not.

So many good artists/studios in London. I'm looking for an artist at the moment as well but haven't really narrowed it down very much. Have a look at: Frith St. Tattoo, The Family Business, Into You for starters. I'm also a big fan of Claudia de Sabe's work. She used to be at Frith St but is now at Jolie Rouge in Camden.

Seconded - These shops are great! What are you looking to get done?

The long term plan is to get an entire back/shoulder piece implementing/working in the two smaller tattoos I have already ( http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs51/i/2009/301/b/a/tatoos__by_cainadamsson.jpg ) - I want the right side to be dot-work, black and grey and in norwegian wood carving style. Yggdrasil with the roots down by my hiney and the branches out over my shoulder and towards my elbow. On the other side I want a colored olive tree around the star of david in a more "semitic"/smooth/soft design.
As I'm only in london for 4-5 days and I also want to spend one of those on my way to and fro Gosport, I most likely won't have time to do much of that, so a upper branch/shoulder/back thing on the right side would be nice.
