hey thanks, Lando!
oh, and sorry for my poor english, guys. -
Yes absolutely - Stewart was checking MY Italian - and I actually used google translate to say "hello and welcome" (if that's what I actually said), because my Italian is pretty much limited to "ciao"! (But isn't "ciao" the best word ever?)
And Stewart, how will I ever get the chance to go madly off topic with G looking over my shoulder? I'll keep trying though….
-
cool, cool. I was just saying cause my english tends to be nonsensical, especially after a few beers.
-
hey and how nice and polite you guys are! I am really not used to it.
-
My English is often nonsensical even before a few beers… if I could ever speak Italian a tenth as well as you speak English, I would be so happy!
And yes, I tend to be a bit polite, but G makes up for me by being really rude a lot of the time....
:o
-
No, that's the real Lemmy. I don't look like him at all.
But I do play the bass in a punk rock band -
OK, you noticed, I'm a bit of a twitcher. I love all of our feathered friends, especially owls, and I spend a lot of time looking after and at our little birdy garden visitors. My big current excitement is that after waiting two years we have a blue tit nesting in my camera monitored nesting box! Here is a fit pic of the little darling, if he/she mates and builds a nest I'll be posting regularly (unless G throws me off the Forum, and sends me to a nuthouse).
-
Thanks for bring us back in line, Simon!
Stewart, yes I think you're right about empty nest syndrome, but I have to say the birdy in the nest box is much lower maintenance than 19 year old son…!
Anyway, now I'm getting to know my way around the forum I promise that any future news on tweety-pie will be posted to "random announcements" (watch this space...)

Hello! I’ve been browsing these forums for a month or so now, I guess its time to join in, seems like a nice friendly place
Confession time : I don’t (yet) own any IH jeans. It’s a brand I always promised myself but can’t seem to make the commitment to breaking in that heavy weight denim! I very nearly pulled the trigger on a pair of the 5th Anniversary 21/23oz in SE NYC last week but got side tracked by some Canes instead, please don’t hold it against me.
-
you wont be banished man…at least not until the tribunal! hahahaha, just kidding. welcome. you are, i believe, the 3rd simon here.

[/quote]A pair of jeans pretty much breaks in by the 14th wear. At least, that's how long it took for me to break in my IH301S. I sized down one since the jeans stretch 1 around an inch. NO real pain…just beautiful agony
broken in by the 14th wear - really!! With 14oz denim I reckon it takes me about 3 months of average wear to set the creases? Decent fades take forever, I've got far to much denim in rotation!

i think simon626 meant that the denim sits better/more comfortable within 14 days, not that his creases were locked into position in 2 weeks.
