Wtg Flash…can't wait to see em...mine are glued to me and are stretching beautifully as well as length starting to settle a bit..I really like the look of samples..more than I thought. I think its the Levis look to them and I love Levis back pockets. These are just a better version
-
Hey question..what are all the bumps on my 710's called….these are looking more and more beautiful as I wear em. Is it called slubby fabric?
-
well…at least that's what I call them.
-
Take a close up pic for us Sal.

if you're liking the look/feel of rough denim, DD, then I suggest you peruse the PBJ thread as well. Those guys have mastered the art of slub!
For example:

YES Thats what my 710 have but not as abundant

@volcano:
It seems these shrink much more than the 666S. Been considering this pair of 710XX but now I'm skeptical. Kinda worried about the measurements.
the denim actually becomes more pliant & stretches out once they've soften up from wash & wear. the [[b]vertucal shrinkage] is what you need to be careful. BiG usually factor in the shrinkage when they hem in-store__ just as long as you give/tell 'em w/e "post wash" measurement you want.
btw, my 710s_ will take fresh fit photos when i get a chance.
-
Those look fantastic BI, how long have you had them?
-
They look amazing, one of the best pairs I've even seen.
-
I'm hoping I can get my S510XX's to soften up a bit, only one wash so far but they're like sandpaper!
-
Yeah, I have to soak them again and start wearing them…Only way to soften them up and get them to look
as cool as yours. -
19oz denim fades really fast for the first weeks, then it stagnates and after that…whooosh

@Dirty:
Thanks Mike…I will be much more proud when these are done naturally...Next i need a IH pair to do the same with. Maybe the 555's or a pair of ducks
You won't regret it, man. The 'natural' evolution route is slow and sometimes frustrating, but the end result makes it so rewarding. As you said, you will be proud - damn proud!
Keep it up mate!
