Until you post your fit pics, I'll share mine
This is the first pair I really think of get them hemmed to a right length…or I just wear them like the kids back in the '50s
-
Nice pics b_F, that's how I wear mine too, with a double cuff or one big cuff like yours.
-
I love the one big cuff. It looks great with boots
-
thanks you two! the 5000 has a nice, modern fit with a lower rise which should be worn on the hips. with the correct length it really looks good (stacking is quite hard to get, with this bigger leg opening)
-
I love the big cuffs, especially with engineer/biker boots…Stacking looks better with a slimmer leg.
-
exactly. stacking is for slimmer/tapered legs,
I also think this cut looks even better/slimmer in smaller sizes (32 and smaller)and I still wait for your update, BH
-
Pics were taken b_F, my home computer is so old and slow it won't load them and I can't do it from work.
Maybe I can e-mail them to you and you can post them, if that's okay PM me your e-mail and I'll get them to
you on Monday. -
yap, still thinking about it…though i think i´ll first let them hem, to see if i like the fit a bit better then, as the denim might fall a bit different then and if not, then they´ll go in for a taper job...max 0.5" inch though!
is she able to taper the jeans on the inside leg?...you might be able to post some pics after it´s done!?...

After an afternoon wrestling support posts in my muggy, muddy backyard, it was time to wash my jeans. I figured I'd toss up a couple of before and after pics, since the pair I own (Wind Element, aka S5000 GX-K) isn't that common. These are basically my beater jeans; they shrank way more than expected in the thigh- about an inch- and were never really comfortable to wear. I worked on them for about 6 months before I gave up and started just wearing them while doing home improvement projects. This is the fourth wash, if I recall correctly [EDIT: actually, the seventh wash]. Anyway, here they are.
