IHSH-67 - Heavy White Chambray Western Shirt
-
Would you or H ever do a "heavier" chambray?
Is that even possible?
I only ask because the 8oz seems a tad see through. Was interested in one for work during the Summer but I don't think I could bare to wear a tee underneath.
I've had no issues with the 58 being see through, i wear it to work without a T underneath, can't say the ame about the 36 which does need an under garment. As Giles says this feels heavier than its weight would lead one to believe, its quite a tight weave.

But it is possible to change the MoP for any of the other pimp options…..
That's what I was wondering as there was no link to the pimp option on the shop page.

Thanks Simon!

This is Julie from VMC, a very cool, relaxed and nice lady. Finn you may know her from your stay in Zurich and the party?
And of course, the legendary Freddy in the house. Julie was too nervous to take a picture of some handsome guys like us, hahahahaha so it is a bit crappy LOL
very happy I had the chance to grab this right away.

hey d.
thanks for sharing all those lovely pics buddy…reminds me of all the good times I had at VMC with all the staffs and all...and o/course I know Julie, Freddy, Roger, Micha and Simona is great as well...
if I should be there again one day, would be nice to meet you d.
I'll let you know -
Davito, what size did you get? I'm thinking a Small might be too big for me.
-
Thanks for the info, I'm torn between the more manageable sleeve length and torso length of the XS but I think the shoulders might be too tight.
On the other hand, I'll probably be wearing it w/o an undershirt especially in this weather. Hmm…
Went with the XS, pretty much the same measurements as the IHSH-58 S. Should be fine.
-
If the fabric behaves the same as with IHSH-65 you can get 1cm off length and sleeves with a hot soak (and who knows even more with further washes), just saying …
-
Glad I went with the XS, the S would have been too big.
This shirt is really nice :). The usual top-notch quality and an amazing fabric. And the white MOPs suit it to a t. So happy that I completely forgot to change them.
Now I need more chambray shirts :(…

Congrats M_P perfect on you. Be careful when washing as yours seems perfect for your shape.
I gave mine a hot soak and a tumble dry today to check out shrinkage. It fits now much better on me while still a bit damp. Got noticeable shrinkage in length and sleeves. Have not measured but its visible. After some wear and more washes it will even be better I think like FH mentioned above.
Superb shirt!
