So sad, I just read threw this roller coaster of a thread. I mean it started out sad with bad news but then Geo came in with his amazing strength. Not knowing the thread would eventually say Geo has passed on in his sleep. I was reading page by page rooting for him smiling and laughing. The fact he was sent some cash from someone who meant to make him happy with some IH items..He instead said "NO if u dont mind donate the money to my charity of choice. U are a wonderful person for that. I unfortunately wasn't around these forums to meet Geo but after reading this amazing thread I feel as if I always knew u . Amazing everyone was there for Geo..God bless u all

Im sure we all know someone who has had cancer and survived or as often happens died.
Cancer has touched my family a few times with my Dad dying at 50 yrs old and now my Mom has just told the family she has terminal liver cancer with only weeks to live.
The reason i am posting here is 'Race For Life' some of you may already have a female member of the family taking part to raise money for Cancer charities and you may already be sponsoring someone.
But if you dont know someone whos taking part, maybe you would concider sponsoring my sister in law and my 2 nieces who are kids.
link below to her sponsor page. Thanks in advance !

It was a year ago today that GEO last posted on the forum, we remember it well because it was Giles’s birthday and it was the best gift he could have asked for. After many weeks of illness GEO came back to join us for a few short hours, we also corresponded via email and - as he always did - he made us laugh and lifted our spirits.
Remembering you very fondly, GEO - we miss you.
-
I still miss my Geo everyday…He will always be in my heart.

Absolutely.

Thinking about you today brotha. Miss you around here too much. Respect

Oh, Landon - I couldn’t agree more.

It is with a very heavy heart that I post this

I am heartbroken to have to tell you that George passed away in his sleep on Saturday morning
We brought him to his proper home a couple of weeks ago where I think he needed to be. The cancer took a terrible toll on him but he stayed exactly as he always was. He never once complained, and even stopped all medicines saying they were pointless at that stage.
He spoke about you often and regretted never meeting you. I think he quite admired you and I know he loved the forum.
A little while ago he showed me something he was doing for the forum art section? I will try to send this to you when I can.
The funeral is on Thursday and will be a very quiet affair – his preference is for no flowers or cards.
Thank you for being such a lovely part of his life.

I am desperately sad, he was the best friend I never met…....

The above message posted from G. was so powerful emotionwise and so extremely sad at once, which brought tears into my eyes at that time I was going through this thread some months ago even though I did not knew or had any contact with Mr Geo.
I lost my dad in a deadly accident some years back and was not able to say "goodbye" as it just happened. His life was just over. Even now I still looking for him sometimes or ask myself what would have happened if he had survived with those heavy injuries but he left without return and this is maybe better.
I understand everybody of you missing your friend Geo, it is sometimes hard to understand why someone has to leave so early.
