Now I rock my 30 years old Marshal Jcm 800 2204 Amp! -
Congrats Ron, it feels good.
JCM have you ever tried the Tone Tubby hemp cone speakers. I have a 10"ceramic bell Tone Tubby. They also make a Alnico (Aluminum, Nickel, Cobalt) bell speaker too, but it's about double the cost of the ceramic bells. However, I like the classic rock sound and that's what everyone used back in the day, ceramic. Check it out. I installed myself too, it was simple.

I have a classic Marshall 1960 box with 4x12" Celestion speakers, and it´s sound perfect!!! I never heard something about the Tone Tubby´s, but I´ll google it, thanks for the tip!!!

Very nice Trons, G & P

JCM, check them out. Celestions are decent compared to these. Ignore the cheesy site and cabinets and just check the speakers. Everyone uses them due to the effect the hemp cone has on the longevity of the speaker. The hemp fibers stretch and break in over time, they do not blow out easily.
