Not cheap, but excellent quality and style I think. This is what I use for mine:

This is expensive too. So beautiful though http://palmerandsons.ca/macbook-sleeve-no-14

Hard Graft are not at all cheap. But…
They do a couple of bags that can be used in different ways. I've got an older 2 Unfold (brown leather and black canvas), which is the top image.
And a few sleeves.
If you're not bankrupt yet, there's always the boots.

Lots of new stuff announced!
The new form factor of the iMac looks good and the rMBP 13" is making me consider trading in my 2012 15" MBP. Still not sure on the iPad Mini though, seems as though you could just have an iPhone/iTouch or a normal iPad…..no Retina display either.
-
Yeah - no Retina display at that price point seems to be a mistake. We'll see how many boatloads they sell, I guess.
Irritated that a new iPad has come out already. I was mentally prepared to hand off my 3 to my wife and get a 4…in March. Not October. Not when there's winter clothes to buy.
-
Yeah i'm gonna wait for the iPad 4 as well. Once you've used the Retina display the other models just don't cut it; hence why i'm trying to ignore the rMBP as much as possible!
-
I totally contradicted myself and ordered the 4. My wife is going to take my 3. Daughter can keep the 1 for Netflix.
-
Hands-on with the iPhone accessory We've talked about the Owle Bubo before but, despite, it sounding like a raptor…

Random boring question : Is there any real merit in getting the new 13" retina MBP over the current Air 13?
It's basically as a glorified toy for me to play software developer on and for general web use. Will be carrying about (public transport commuter here.) to an extent so weight is important. It's only how light the new MBP is made me consider it.
In the house PC still going to be the work horse for games etc so raw horse power is not really a concern.
All input appreciated!
-
passthestripe, it's a good question. have you tried a retina screen laptop in a store? i think it's essential to do that before choosing which model to go for. personally, after using the retina MBP i find it hard to use other laptops.
-
Once you've seen retina you won't want to go back. But after nearly bricking my old MacBook this week ill take anything new.
-
I had a look at the 13 retina, it did look great… But I couldn't justify the extra chunk of change so I just went with the 13 air. Pretty happy with it, lovely piece of kit!
Now just trying to find a suitable and robust sleeve but not came across any, if anyone has any input then feel free to comment.
