@volcano:
Volcano, do you reckon you've got enough room to layer a hoodie underneath that vest?
a hoody? hmm i reckon i could but its gonna be pretty snug fit. at the moment i wear it with my medium IHSH-33 and a hanes beefy tee under it. after all these, there's still space for comfort and jumping around. so it depends on your hoodie. if its bloody damn thick like 2-3 fingers, i can still fit in. but anything thicker than that, i'll probably suffocate myself.
however because my waist is 33" the last bottom button have to be unbuttoned whenever i wanna side down and lay back. else the stiff vest would go up and make me look like im shrinking inside the vest.
btw, i wear a medium in all my IH clothes. and here's my measurement to help.
shoulders - 17.4"
chest - 40 to 40-5" there about
waist - 33"
height - 174 cm or 5.7 ft
weight - 82kg (yes i know, im fat! ;D)hope this helps.
Very helpful. Thanks man. And have a great time in Europe.

I'd go for a Medium in this
-
Thanks for the advice…I just think a vest looks better when it fits snug and I think I can do M, at least I can in Levi's vests.
-
and I'm sure after this you would return it for a Large….
again for fitting, imo only go down one if you wanna wear it exclusive open with only a tee under. If you want to be able to button it up and or layer it and stay comfy, go for your normal size...
backed! thats what i found out after getting my hands on this. i had a chance to try both small and medium but sadly. small was too snug when worn with a just a tee. btw im a medium in all my IH shirts and my measurements are above.
-
Hey volcano: you have the same measurements than me (minus the chest plus I'm one cm. taller)…
Random, but felt like sharing Jacket looks fab on ya...
thanks alot for your kind words mate. and yeah my chest are kinda huge (probably my manboobs. ;D) and as for height, im asian and we all know asians are born short like a dwarf compared to you guys. wish i had the height of G and the other guys here. 183cm or 6ft would be perfect.

commercial brands like levis have got what i call vanity sizing. they write tagged 32 but they measure 34. makes you feel slim. not saying you're fat but if you wear a M for levis, it might be a L for IH. (harsh truth hurts)
anyway go with your usual sizing mate. like if you're a L for all your shirts, get L. you will get a wider field of play with the vest than to downsize. you can wear with a hoodie, shirt or just a tee.

I meant I have a bigger chest than you (42")… Bigger boobs perhaps?..
Also 1.74 m = perfect length. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise
opps! i take back my words, lets call it well-toned chest.
hahaha perfect length? alright thanks mate. so we both have well-toned chest and a perfect length.

Hahahhaa I'm feeling you brotha…

Eat more and hit the gym. Some of my lifting buddies are Asian (Japanese/Filipino) Lots of formerly skinny white dudes rolling in the larger sizes have done it too (myself included). It is do-able if you try! I was obese as a teenager, with a 44" waist which went down to a 32 when was in my early 20's. A bunch of squats and deadlifts later I'm at a 36" waist. 46.5" chest. There are plenty of resources around here and I'm happy to answer questions when I can.
Babyknight rocking it like it should be!!!
