Thank you kindly Ben and Alex. of course I am a Mr IH guy as well
tried to capture some pix of the Buckaroos (B5), have to do it in real light soon. The pants are quite full as MF always is, I stayed in my size 30 although could have gone to a 29 easy. I am so skinny that even the 29 would look the same as the 30 and I have some reserve for future years, when gaining some weight :).
I have cold soaked em and expect some more shrinkage in a future wash, so I think these are pretty nice and it is a completely different style from all the jeans I have.
please enjoy my elephant hunt

First and definitely not last piece from Mister Freedom. I love this, I wish it was colder!

davito that Ranch Hand Shirt & Wool Drover Blouse are incredible seperate or together. if the Wool Drover Blouse was available in a different color i would be really tempted to pick it up. the details look second to none.
thanks for the images

I have the b5 you see them in this thread. If you like the Old School loose fit from the Cowboys then yes get them. Think the B2 are a bit "slimmer" than b5 and should fit pretty good.
Mine are not yet washed think might get around 3% shrinkage in all dimensions.
Check out denimbro, some guys have posted some more info.

Thanks Davito. I've seen your fit pics of the Bucks above. Looking good!
I'm in Japan, and it definitely looks like the only Buckaroos available are the one-wash B2s.Tried them on yesterday, and they were great. Especially liked the pockets, so easy to get your hands in there! Denim great as well, smooth, buttery and dark blue.
The shop only had 33, my usual size. They were definitely on the slimmer side. Way slimmer than in your photos. I didn't realize the B2 and B5 are actually different cuts. Mine fit me pretty close to the fit pics linked below, but even a bit tighter in the thighs and top block.

Sure I could go 34, but thinking that these are going to stretch, plus a trimmer "riders" silhouette isn't a bad thing. What do you think?

Hi chiba no prob. They are great arent they yes b5 is wider and lighter but they should shrink in width as well after a wash. I have read about the one washed b2s and I think the fit looks pretty good on that page you provided.
Most important is you feeling good and comfortable in em. Waist will stretch for sure.
If you are sure about them go and grab them as they are pretty exklusive and probably one of the last chances to get a fresh pair. Have Fun and post some pics when you get them.
Other possibility would be to order directly from MF, have you contacted them if there are some raws still available? I believe they go fast.

They are great. I was actually thinking of going for a lil wider leg pre-war cut for my next denim. Thought the Buckaroos would fit that bill. Was surprised to discover they were trimmer. I actually find them to be similar to a 50s-70s Lee cut, no?
Anyway, think I'll postpone the wider leg, and go for these. They're that good. May try to hit a shop with a 34 though, for the sake of comparison. I'm not really into ordering from outside Japan. I like to buy things on site, if I can.
Will post pics if or when I get em. Thanks again!
