After beer and pizza, they'll stretch
I just smashed a large kebab wearing the samples…....might need to do new waist measurements in the morning.

If you want a real stretch boost a half dozen pints of Guinness should do nicely..

I drunkenly left my Guinness at the in laws on Christmas day

They look great, Gav - you must be well pleased. I'm pretty psyched myself, especially as I failed to spot the original spec of black arcs and W…

Hi SD,
I can't really comment on Iron Hearts exchange policy when it comes to the contest jeans, but registering with another pair will not be a problem.
What I would suggest doing is taking a pair of your existing jeans which fit you well, and comparing them against the measurement table. Giles has had a sample made of the MBB's, and the measurements have run exactly true to size.
Thanks
MegaHi mega thanks for reply, actual I will keep the Mage beatle buster even it s not fit well for me,I just want buy another pair jeans if it s happen and use this to do the contest,I had Checked measurement table before I ordered the mega Beatle buster ,but still worry it will comfort for wearing or not,so I just don't want break the contest rule thank u

I'm thinking about joining as well and have some sizing questions. Im new to Iron Heart. My only selvedge jeans have been nudies (average joe). I wear a 34x36 and I like the fit. I've stretched out the waist to 37 inches (the nudies website measures differently, so I dont know exactly what they were when I got them). I'm tall (6'3'', 190.5cm) and athletic (225lbs, 102kg). I need to decide what will be a better fit between a IH-634-XHS in a 36/38 or the IH-HWDC2 in a 38. I like a snug fit in the thighs, but not crazy tight. My avatar might give you an idea of the kind of fit I prefer. Any suggestions?

A 38 in the MBB's will give the snuggest thigh fit, though not skin tight.

Wait until the spreadsheet is complete and I send it over to you to tinker with Snowy, ha ha. I'm crap with Excell, I'm sure you could make it do all sorts of clever things

Thanks for the info. Which model of nudies do you think the MBB best compare to? What about the IH-634-XHS (I was thinking these were the closest to average joes)? Thanks again.
-
Sorry man, I've never owned a pair of Nudies. The 634's are a classic straight cut, the MBB's are slimmer in the thigh, with a higher rise, and slightly tapered below the knee.

Best thing you can do is measure your favorite jeans and compare them to the Iron Hearts, there is a link somewhere around here that tells you how IH measures.

I had a pair of Average Joe's way-back-when and, from memory, the cut was slightly roomier than the Beatle Buster in the top block but broadly comparable in terms of taper below the knee. Rise was definitely a fair bit lower on the Nudies though. The weight and quality of denim makes them hang completely differently though, regardless of any similarity cut-wise.
I should add that I haven't owned or tried on the classic IH 634 cut, so my only reference in terms of your question is the BB.

I'm definitely going to enter, it's just a matter of determining the specific pair of use. It will likely hinge on how well the 634s's fit when the come in, though I'd like to own the contest jean to really feel as though I am participating in the event.
Gav, 31st of December is the deadline for the deposit, correct?
