Oh I'm not worried, just wanted to see if what I read was a consistent issue for others. My questions have been answered. Now just a matter of time until I grab one. Just trying to decide between the IHB-02 and the IHB-03 in Black…

The IHB-03 is an immense belt. AND no screws!

One of my customers who has just purchased an IHB-03:
asked for some more details about it.
Here is Ayumis response:
The buckles are made in small atelier in Gifu pref. and the leather items are made by artisan, Mr. Ken at Calf (the studio called Calf) in Fukuyama city, Hiroshima.

I own two – IH Brown Cowhide Belt and IH Super Tan (Self Edge Exclusive). I also own two Sugar Cane Belts (Tan studded and Black Studded). I wear a W32 in all, and I can tell you that they're super amazing. The IH ones are definitely thicker and more "industrial strength" in a way that only Iron Heart can master. I mean, no joke -- I could use my IH belts as a self defense weapon...you could seriously hurt someone with them ! I'll post pics up soon.

That belt is INSANE. Next purchase I think

Did you treat that belt with anything Giles, or is that just natural tanning and wear?

Some leather cream about once every 6 months. G
Good to know! Thanks G. The difference in saturation is unreal.
Edit: To expand, I believe I still have a tub or two of Chelsea Leather Food that I've used on every leather good I've owned (cleats, gloves, etc.)and it's worked well, most recently on a late ;60's honey-colored Brooks saddle. The day I get around to trying out Obenaufs is rapidly approaching.
