White's Boots

How big were they on you Chris? I ordered an 11.5D and wear 11.5 in redwing and 12 in athletic shoes..
would an insole fix it?
I think they were about a half size too large. The arch support was pressing into the ball of my foot and I couldn't adjust them into a fit that I liked with an insole. Maybe others would be able to do so, but I just wasn't happy.
This is the important part!
The lesson here is that you should send in the sizing kit to confirm your size if you can't try on a pair. It may take a while longer, but it's worth it. Besides, a custom order is going to take two months anyway, so what's an extra few days? -
And like Urb says, learn from my mistakes- I took the hit so you don't have to…

I've worn from a 9.5D to and 11.5 EE in Whites, all with extreme comfort. My feet rule.

I once wore only one 22-EE sized Smoke Jumper made from Tasmanian devil backside leather with both my feet in them.
As I was sitting on the front porch all day with my feet up on the veranda, overlooking the western territories, that was as comfy as it gets.(seriously folks, size questions on internet forums are useless. send a trace and stop worrying)

The tracing with accompanying measurement is the way to go. Who was to know that I would take two different boot sizes and they would be happy to make them that way for me?

It certainly is, and just about as pricey as the world of Japanese denim, who needs tobacco and drug habits when you can blow all your stash on denim and leather
