^Yep. And thanks Mich, this is a great shirt. I get compliments on it every time I wear it. Scoop it up quick when SE gets it again!

very nice davito, I love these fine pieces of footwear; unfortunaltey, I do not believe they run in sizes big enough for me….
On a similar note, you have me reconsidering my original feelings concerning the MFSC shirt you are wearing over in the flathead thread. I was not sure how I felt about the 3/4 button up (don't know if it has a name, I'm sure it does and i'm to lazy to look it up at the moment) when I first laid eyes on it while browsing their site, but that shirt looks bad to the bone tucked in sir!!! killin it.

hi tatmantall thanks very much.
have you contacted John re availability and sizes of the 2nd run of road champs?
there might be some controversy about those "henley style pull over polka shirts" (calico, reno shirt etc) but believe me, when you tried one on and you are really into MF then you will love it, regardless if there is a label tag or something else. Tastes are different. Its about individual style, the details, the incredible quality and appreciation of the brand. I always wear shirts like that tucked but I can imagine wearing it untucked as well depending on the outfit.
Take your time and get in touch with John at MF, he will put you into the right size and hopefully those renos are still available. Consider the other reno shirts as well (snow calico and indigo ticked "stripey"), very beautiful all three of them
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the info davito, I will be checking into it for sure friend.

thanks Finn mate yeah they are really nice, high instep, vintage toe, cowhide, cats paw heel…beautiful. the road champs are for sure in the MF top class but still there are some top pieces like the deck jacket or the peacoats (which seems unfortunately too bulky for me) or other garments from each collection. I am very grateful I got these engineers as I was eyeing them for a long time, thankfully they were reserved for me but was not sure to pull the trigger but thought common I only live once so I got em finally...
tatmantall you are welcome, no prob
and here some fits of the road champs wearing new era, MF mechanic sweat-shirt, 634WH and the champs...

Again…you wear those so perfect David. What's on the left of the picture? Haha

Hi lamdog nice to see your pair too, thx
Thx much Ben. The little guy is Barbabeau from the early 70's child series Barbabapa. I have the barbamama too, those are repros I got from a zurich art exhibitor some years ago. They are produced in France in small quantities dont know if still available. I love Barbabapa since I was a kid and they smile at me everyday.
Here some info on the characters and barbabapa in general if interested

Hi Friday thx a lot. I got them from my trusted friends at VMC. these road champs are NOS from the first run in 2008, I think they are completely sold out. I am not sure if there are even some left at MF in LA from the 2nd run in August 2012 depending also on sizes. just drop a note to John at MF, he will be able to help you out with some information. thx again.

Feeling like a ranch hand today…
I hadn't been wearing it as much as I should've but after a wash and a little time in the dryer it shrunk about 2" in the length. Perfect
-
Mine is the one-wash. I didn't take measurements unfortunately, but I would say it shrunk a little everywhere (especially the length.) I only did a cold wash and low dry for about 25 minutes, so I'd say that if you upped the heat a little you'd probably get it to shrink. Good luck!
