Belts

The other Tender belt that I really like is the double D-ring model. Here are some pictures posted by William Kroll over at Superfuture.
I like the way that one's aged. I think it's a bit more interesting than the oak bark belts. Now if it had red enameled rings…

The enamel chips and some are even at the point of showing the brass underneath. It's a great belt and it is aging beautifully.

Received my HWDC belt today. 1.75" New Market Bridle with brass garrison buckle. I'm digging the classic look.

I just bought some Obenauf's LP. Should I put it on both sides of the belt or just the top? Sorry for the newb Question but thanks for your help.

I just treat the finished side of my leather goods.

Can someone recommend a good natural colored belt to start with? (doesn't have to be IH). I've never owned a high quality one before and I think the time has come. I want something not too crazy thick, but with plenty of durability that will (most importantly) age well.
