IHSH-80 - Indigo Check Western Shirts - Blue & Red

yeah. Its not really a big deal honestly, and actually is more versatile because I can layer a thermal under it at this size… I am positive with the smaller measurements I could not have wore a shirt with any substantial weight underneath without ripping out the back of the shirt when I bend my arms... The sleeve length would have been pushing it as well, but; there are times that I wish I had a few more fitted shirts in my wardrobe.

I know what you mean re: fitted shirts. I think this is where the Henley becomes even more valuable – such a versatile piece. I'm really looking forward to the possibility of more colors. I haven't heard anything on this front, but there is certainly enthusiasm for it.
Circling back to the 80, I think you made the right choice. I have a 36 that is a little bit on the larger side, but the sleeves and shoulders are perfect. Since it's a warm weather shirt (ultimate beach shirt), I kind of like it being airy. The 80 isn't as light as the 36, but it's still pretty light. If you want it to be a bit more substantial, you can layer with a Henley (like you alluded to; and like I'm doing now). If it's really warm out, you can just wear it more relaxed, with a T, and enjoy the breeze.

Slightly irritated with the sizing still I decided to hot wash and dry my blue 80 last night… This morning I put it on and could not ask for a better fit . I really did not think this piece would have any shrinkage since it is not a twill weave and therefore did not measure before doing but will post pre and post wash measurements on my red for anyone who might be between sized like I was and wanting a slimmer fit

Not sure… I have a front loading HE washer and Selected the "hot" setting... That's about as technical as it got. Sorry I can't be of more assistance

Appreciated davito!

did you use the dryer? I tried a semi hot wash for the first wash and air died with very little result. However a hot wash plus a warm dryer seemed to do the trick…just a suggestion hope it works out for you
