I have no idea what that means Bags, when you're talking to me you need to pretend that I'm from a different country/ planet
-
I am slightly scared/ curious and flattered that you imagine me in a track suit.
-
I know it has been said but gav you are looking fit!
-
Thank you, I feel much fitter. Although today I feel like I have the legs of a 90 year old.
-
I suppose that would match your liver.

It was the all blue that made me think of it

so, after 3weeks of no sports cuz of my insured knee, i thought it was about time to finally get my ass up again and start to get ripped for summer!
started with a nice 40min. run this morning (sth. like 7-8km) and it was awesome…gonna go for a run every 2nd day now.
think i need new running shoes though...any suggestions? "affordable" is my 2nd name -

I was expecting hair line…....but not from you.
I was initially going to go with sexual prowess, but I figured that would be too easy.

^Worst chat up line ever.

The more active you run, the less cushion you need. One could even argue that you don´t need much of a shoe if your running form is good and your muscles and filaments are adapted to that style of running.
Obviously you should buy a shoe that fits you. Mizuno for example uses wide lasts, Adidas and Nike tend to be narrow. The more important question is if you want to go for a heavily cushioned shoe with a high heel-to-toe drop that fosters a passive running form or try to improve your technique with a flat shoe (don´t go immediately over the top with those).
Don´t let people tell you that you need a certain amount of cushion because your total weight is more than x kg. It´s all about technique and adaption. In the long run active running is better for your ligaments.

thanks a lot for the input mate, makes sense…atm. i´m running in a pair of Nike free run 3 (iirc). they already have a lot of km on their back and i think i need to get some new ones pretty soon!
i have normal to wide feet and the nike free is "ok" i think...a bit wider would be a bit better though i believe. -
If you really like the free 3.0… I know you can nikeID the new model. You can get them in a 2EE width. They only give you more material on the upper to accommodate wider feet but the sole completely stays the same. Usually the running companies have released their new "update" products about 2 months ago, so you should find previous models marked way down now.

Ogden Marathon tomorrow. Enjoying a pint so that I can crash early. 4am to catch a bus up the canyon.

Oh man was it a rainy cold race today. Rained the whole time. Continuous rain is rare in Utah. Ended up wearing a trash bag for nearly the whole race. Usually is a disposable start line trick.
The canyon was beautiful
