Viberg

Hi all, well done to the winners of the Viberg lottery. Does anybody happen to know the last used on the 66 Hiker? I'm 8.5 in Trickers, Alden Barrie and Trubalance, 9US in RW Beckmans. Any ideas? In need of a good looking all weather hiker and the 66 seems to be the DB's for the job.
Thanks.

great score simon & i have to be honest & say i had to talk myself off the ledge with that very make-up.
curious to see urbs harness leather get some honest to goodness use & a resole for winter 2013/2014.
oh & also curious to see what other goodies the viberg sample sales will bring. it was really a genuis idea & i can not imagine how many people actually care what is happening over at styleforum based on this alone. pretty epic stuff.
off topic but what the hey. would love an Iron Heart sample sale fashioned in the same way . . . i know highly unlikely, but it never hurts to bring these things up

whoops, i think i bumped into a pair of short shifts with the ugly sole that i can not say no to.
hope a pair of the viberg iron heart pesco inspired boots come up in the sample sale, i would be all over it like white on rice, well unless you do brown rice then you know, brown on rice.
logging off got to do some work

if i got that right, then your size (8.5) is already sold…only a 9.5 available!

i´d say the 66 hikers is built on the 160 last, same as the iron heart scout boot, so you should be able to fit that UK8.5! i say go for´em…

who you think they sold to slime? you do understand the mad one plays NO games.
** slime is my current silly term of endearment, it sounds better when you say it in a snoop lion voice in your head :O)

i scored a pair of engineer's recently, there's nothing like viberg's, simply the best in my opinion.

Do you need to be signed up on StyleForum to be able to buy a pair from the big sample sale?
-
^ yes and yes!
sizing shown are UK sizing!
email to info@workboot.com with the number, style and size you want to buy and then it's off to crossing fingers, if you're the first or not in line… -
nice images clint_d, thanks for sharing & i hope they work out (though you sound like the chances are slim to none)
here are my #145 Brogue Toe, Icy Mocha Chromexcel, Vibram 4014 Christy Soles
really nothing crazy going on, but i like the leather a great deal. my wife & kids call these my ronald mcdonald shoes . . . oh & sorry about all the images, but all the text was driving me mad . . . .

@guyferguson:
The second batch of boots is almost done and will be going live on Tuesday around noon (pacific time). It's going to be more like 15 styles this time as 30 was just way to much logistically for us to deal with in a single day. We've also tried to be more descriptive this time and have included the last and any specific flaw that might be present. As for sizing people don't necessarily need to worry so much about the UK thing. It's not like we have two sets of size stamps or anything. The 2030 last is relatively shallow and narrow and i like a full size down from my Brannock size in this. The 110 is wider and rounder with more room in the toe and i can do 1 or 1.5 down from my Brannock size. The 310 has the upturned toe and is at least as roomy as the 110. Besides that there is the hiker last and a few others which are seldom used. Once our new site launches we will have a thorough sizing guide with comparisons as well as visuals for all the lasts. I understand this sale isn't perfect, but we're working with what we have. Some of these boots are years old and don't even have a label.
BTW round 2 is gonna be really good. I'm away this weekend so i won't be prompt with emails. If you are asking about what will be available don't bother, we are not going to release that early. Talk to you all on Tuesday. Enjoy the weekend!
