Hey all.
So I invested in my first pair of Iron Hearts about three weeks ago. 666xhs in a 33 waist. Mostly love 'em, the denim, colour, toughness and quality is top notch, as you all know.
Alas, I'm trying my hardest to fall in love with the cut. Everything from the knee up - perfect! But I'm blessed with a power-lifter's thighs and ballerina's feet, so I can't escape the feeling that I could get a bit more taper from the knee down to about a 7.5inch leg opening. I won't change the length 'cause I like to change the cuff depending on footwear. I've got a good tailor who'd do a cracking job, but I'd love to get a few other opinions before I make the call. I know I'm being pedantic, but half a gorilla is big $ for a pair of jeans (for me) and I don't wanna rush into anything.
Here's some shots, all post-soak, some a week in, the others 3 weeks.
Ps. I'm glad none of my housemates sprung me prancing around taking photos of myself in the back yard.

half a gorilla
i think the fit looks good, if you have someone you have faith in doing the job give it a go so you can be truly satisfied with your purchase. nothing like spending hard earned cash & not being happy with your purchase
what ever you decide enjoy them, as you can see from seul the denim is really nice
-
They look great. If anything, you could use a bit of a hem, maybe an inch or so. But they look fine as is.

i fucked with this denim and the outcome is just brilliant!
also I'm quoting the mad man on this one…do what makes you feel happy mate!

I'll fuck with anything to to happy….I think they look good...I'm getting a second pair...restock

Lol "make love to them". I was hopin these had a lil more taper aswell (.5" or so) but they turned out great anyway. I think your fit looks good on you. If you really want to get them tapered then i would bring the jeans in and ask the tailor about 5-6 times in a row "how confident are you in sewing these badass heavy bastards?" If he doesnt seem 100% all 5-6 times then DONT TOUCH EM!!

Cheers for the input dudes (and dudettes?).
THink I'll wait a little longer before I make any rash decisions.
Don't worry, even if I got 'em altered I'd have a nice, stern, sit-down talk with my tailor to make sure he understood the gravity of the situation.
Thanks again Iron Heart Heroes, saved the day.
