Triple Works - The New Jeans World Tour
-
Yep, that was a good one. I'll have to try and track some down a little closer to home.

Friday was a travel day. Pretty dull overall.
Started the day off with breakfast tacos. Egg and chorizo on fresh tortillas. Damn, that's good stuff.
Saw a lot of this
Oh, and for those of you who are considering partaking in the gastronomic joy that is Texas barbeque, the Salt Lick is big and famous, but my vote goes to this place for best BBQ in the state:
City Market in Luling, Texas. Get a half pound of brisket, a hot sausage ring, a side of potato salad and extra sauce, then wash it all down with an IBC root beer. It may be the best meal you'll ever have. -
Been a while since my last post; sorry. Getting slack, I guess. OK, so this weekend we went to a camp for Benjamin's school. Camp For All is outside Brenham (home of Blue Bell Ice Cream!). While there, we did camp-ish stuff, like make s'mores over a campfire, sleep in cabins, paddled canoes, etc. I didn't take pictures of any of it, except when we went to the petting zoo and Benjamin made friends with a donkey.
That's all you're gonna get…The beginning of springtime in Texas is marked by the blooming of the Official State Flower of Texas- the bluebonnet. This is one of the prettiest times of the year, as far as I'm concerned. Since it's a wildflower, you can see them all over the place- in street medians, along highway overpasses, in fields, basically everywhere. I love them.
Random side note- I love truth in advertising.
I'd say this is spot on; it's an OK energy drink- not great, not bad… -

I'm not born and bred but I've spent the last 26 years of my life here and your last few updates have brought back some good memories!

The jeans were shipped to nientenhosen a few weeks ago, but are probably somewhere in the clutches of the German postal service. They were on strike, so no deliveries were being made. If the strike is over, I'm sure there's a massive backlog to clear.
-
hmm, didn't received the jeans until now.
seems like it was lost somewhere between the us and germany…chris, give usps a call, please.
(if you notice a postman wearing a pair of TW without an patch, please tell me....) -
I called USPS and they told me that all they know is that it was processed through Chicago on April 11 and went to Germany. Apparently, they don't have any information more than what's shown on their Track & Confirm webpage. They did suggest contacting German customs to see if the USPS Customs number for the package (LC522876699US) was scanned into their system. Otherwise, we just have to wait and hope the jeans show up.
I wish I had better news…
-
feck, called DHL today a second time and there is no information about this item…
-
didn't know that stagecoaches are still in use…
....finally, got notification from local custom office today that wt-jeans are still alive, will pick up next week. -
It's because I chose the little known "18th Century" shipping option from the USPS. It's less expensive, but it uses Spanish galleons and oxcarts to transport packages…
-
Woke up superearly in the morning today to pick up our lost child (needs about seven weeks to find its way from texas to germany) at local custom office.
As expected for an WORKs product: great denim, well constructed, great jeans as usual.
Really love the arcs, very attractive, didn't noticed before. Will wear this pair the next month.
first time being a participant of a WT jeans and you needs to be entertaind, I'm afraid.
Will do my very best to post some pics to give you an idea what TWWT is doing.Fits me good, it is waist 33. if I could choose, I would size down one, but this pair will work for a month.
weather is fine, so, decided to go to work by cycle…

Good taste in jeans and also in bikes. What´s the frame? -

On wednesday evening some friends, family and me were on a small festival in the park round the corner, where a handful of local bands had their gigs.
Wheather was really shitty, feckin cold and rainy, but atmosphere was great and we had so much fun!
