White's Boots

What are these?
^That was exactly what I was thinking. I won't be abusing my boots, they are just for casual wear. However, I also don't want them to age fast and hope to wear them for a few years. Also, what do you and other members think is the closest color comparison of CXL Brown and Burgundy in Dress leather or Latigo? Dress brown appears extremely dark almost black, I wanted a lighter shade of Brown. What are the names and if someone could post pics (sorry I must be blind, but I can't seem to find search this thread anywhere)? As for Burgundy would calf be more durable than its CXL counterpart?
Anyone know the closest alternatives to Burgundy or Brown CXL?
what boot are you thinking of?
the brown horse hide that the semi dress is available in is a really nice color
and way tougher then cxlI am thinking SD or Smoke Jumper. I don't think I have price range for horsehide?

changed to thinner waxed laces from alden! what do you guys think?
-
I agree.
-
I think that they look fine, really nice even, but if you ever plan on using those hooks they will get shredded very quickly.
-
I like the look, in fact I did something similar with my green Vibergs. But Megatron is right- speed hooks will shred those pretty quickly.

Any European stockists for this brand does anybody know? Seen a few on ebay from an authorised reseller who ships to EU but the delivery charges are comical. Thanks
-
You can email them with questions. AFAIK you can also order costum white's.
-
I checked their website - no luck

@ArnoldLayne you can contact the seller in eBay and they'll give you a proper quote on shipping which will probably be in the USD 80-90 range. At least that's what they gave me for Sweden.

Yeah thanks man, but it's not just the shipping, it's the import duties I"m afraid of. Nearly everything gets caught through customs here (UK) and you can expect to add 30% or so…

Hi Arnold,
The Design/ Build a boot section of our website will be up and working in about 2 weeks latest and we will be having some preferable price changes to our stock boots and design a boot pricing (not that it shows any at the moment of course). If you've got a make up in mind feel free to ask.
Cheers.
Jamie.

Got a call from Kyle about my incoming competition boots today (already at 10 weeks and counting from order confirmation, was 6-8 week lead time when I ordered) seems they can't do a 430 mini-lug sole, regular trim with an E width… so close trim it is! Kyle was super friendly and helpful as usual...
...but at this point I just want the boots... sigh

I guess the good news is that they're at the point where they're getting ready to sew on the soles. Almost done, right?
