IH-666L - The Devil's Left Hand

Soaked as advised. No idea of shrinkage measurements but they certainly feel snug in the waist. Prefer stacking them to cuffs and was expecting to need to get them hemmed but I reckon the length is good.
Already my favourite pair of jeans I have ever owned. And already eyeing up the 25oz 666.

Nice fit, theding - could do with a cuff or some hem-love though imo…

Thanks. I did try a cuff but not something I'd normally do and worry that if I get them hemmed I risk going too short. Such a hard life I lead…

You could easily hem 2-3 inches, which would clean up how they look, and still not have to worry about going too short.
-
I second davitos comment
-
Cuff em the thing i was never a cuff guy in earlier days now I even double cuff and nothing to worry about you still can hem after you broke em in imo
davito speaks truth. Cuff Em, Double Cuff Em. Once you hem you can't go back, but you'll likely love the cuff ;). I do 3" cuffs whenever I get the chance now

Been wearing them for a few days and you guys are right - they are too long so need to be hemmed or cuffed. Noticed something unfortunate though.
On the right leg they seem to be twisted. The seam that runs down the outside twists inwards so the selvedge is sat just to the right of the tongue of my shoes. Is this a sign I did something wrong when I soaked them? I left them for an hour in the bath and then drip dried from a hanger over the bath for a couple of days.
Any thoughts?
Matt

That's just the nature of raw denim - twisting back. With RHT it's usually the left leg that seems to twist more towards the middle, on LHT vice versa. Embrace it as something special.

Completely normal. Leg skew is a characteristic of raw denim.

I normally struggle with jeans being too tight in the thigh but I am loving the fit of the 666L. That said, I expect the waist to stretch out to a little bit looser than I would ideally choose so in hindsight I probably should have got a pair of 33s instead of 34 (the leg was good in both but I struggled to do up the buttons on the 33 in the shop). Time will tell I guess.
In short I suggest you try some on as they don't feel like a slim/skinny fit to me. Just fitted.

That's how mine feel. They are a little slimmer starting at the thigh down than my TW Busters (my other LHT pair), but they are not a super duper slim fit like my 555 were. I find them one of my more comfortable pairs to wear since the mercury started rising. As far as the waist on your pair is concerned, wear a nice quality belt. It usually helps avoid that stretch.
Demonito, do you have a pair of straight legged or sorta slim (DC4?)/ similar fit jeans? Compare the measurement tables. These are fairly slim in the thigh, so watch how you size them IMO.
