The Evolution of Iron Heart

@simon626:
I personally like when jeans in the EVO thread are not being worn by the owner in the photos. That's just me…
If you really want me to, i'll take my pants off and go outside and take pictures before the sun goes down in like…30 minutes.
Do whatever you would like Simon. Take a look through any EVO thread and check out the similarities in the photos and descriptions. People are going to that thread for specific information(Length of Wear, Number of Soaks/ Washes) and Pictures(Of the jeans). I guess there is no rule to it but then why not just post EVO in the WAYWT thread. Or let's just start posting shots of our flannels into the Boots thread… There needs to be consistency or else this place will be a mess and not worth visiting. In fact, go post that ass shot in the EVO thread on Sufu and tell me how it goes.

seriously - not that much,. I oiled it once when I first got them - so almost 5 months ago.. Only other thing that I can think of is that I tend to pull up my pants a lot and thus the patch gets a lot of touching…
BTW - urs looks fine - maybe apply a little leather oil to preserve it from cracking, but once every 6 months should be fine -
When I was in Hachioji with Alex, Haraki san took one look at Alex's severely beaten up IH-1461's and said that they needed a rebuild. We popped Alex into a shiny new pair of IH-634S and left the 1461's behind. They arrived back today. Unfortunately I took no before pix, but here are some after the rebuild:

Wow! I have no concern that if I ever get to a point where I need repair that Haraki-San and Crew will have no problem tackling the issue…

Very nice repairs. That cuff repair is sort of strangely artistic. It almost looks stained or something. Very neat.
