On one of my last visits to K&H I came across "the ancestor of all belts!"
1/2 cm thick and handmade in Germany by "DETLINE LEATERWORKS" from selected 40 years old hide.
with stitching, partly for aesthetic reasons, made by beautiful craftsmanship.
the natural colour is astonishing and promises to blossom ever more with ageing.

This ultra heavy one seems to be the belt your grandchildren will inherit.

In my opinion these belts are a good match for a 25oz denim, and like them, they need to be tamed.
My first day of wearing belt&denim they behaved like a mulish love-couple.
On a less thick jeans these girdle tames the jeans immediately.
A belt to end (nearly) all belts ;).

I am liking these belts. I have a very thick belt from Tender but it really stands out at the buckle  and either my tees get caught on it or I have an odd buckle bump under my shirt. These seem to be flat at this area which might work better for me.

i think the belt will "flatten" even more with some use.
