IH-801 Cotton Duck Double Knee Loggers
-
IMO, straight leg duck cuts suck. I think that tapering gives them more of a uniform straight leg cut. G's 666D fit pic looks like a straight leg duck, not Super Slim Tapered.
Yeah but they are meant to be loggers, hence the full cut. They need to be paired with boots. Anyhow, tapering a pair of double knee's would be a tad silly IMHO.

Can anyone attest to how much these will stretch out. I'm trying to figure out my sizing for a new work pant for the upcoming sugaring season starting in the spring.
i wear a 36, in 634s and 634sb's and raws. they are usually tight to begin with in the thigh and waist but stretch out after a bit. I'm just not familiar with this material.
thanks
Note: i bet I'm the only one in IH who makes maple syrup and a lot of it ~800gallons!

Not a lot of stretch with the duck. Imd recommend sizing up one for a nice work pant fit.

Z is on the money, Def don't size down. I sized up and am happy I did.

Duck is canvas. Canvas is a 1/1 weave. 1/1 weaves by their nature do not stretch much, that is why canvas is used for sails. Denim is a twill weave and is thus inclined to stretch and change shape…More here:

Is the duck rope died ? For contrasting fades!
There is a pair of Roys on eBay that says they're indigo rope died ducks.Joshjames

Just got my black 801s and love them! Still super stiff, so legs look a little bulky, but great fit!
Sometimes you need double knees when sitting behind a computer…Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah mine are also a little bulky. Doing some squats helped on mine but living mostly on a hanger they flatten out again all too quickly. They are great pants though but just don't get as much use as my jeans.

Some more 801 love…
