@mvb:
maybe he whistled for one of the 132 fouls that were committed by all players in the goal area, that said the goal shouldnt have been rejected
That, at least, would've more appropriate.
Edit: And yes, good luck to our UK competitors in being assigned some impartial, competent referees.

@Madame:
Nice goal, Landon!
Thanks! I was waiting for someone to make that reference. So I missed the Germany blunder as well as the US comeback tie. I am going to watch them both later today after England match. PS, I may step off the plane in one of my Argentina jerseys…

We'd never take it personally >:(, however I would love to see England and US go through, which I believe is still a possibility…
Got plenty chilled wine, twiglets and belief... what more do I need? Oh, yes, some decent playing by England and a referee with half a brain.
Let's see what happens in the next couple of hours... bring it on!

Annnnnnnnnnddddddd Kickoff!!! Go Algeria?!?!
-
Nil - Nil…
-
WTF…? Painful thus far... I keep shouting at the TV what they need to do, but they're just not listening!
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah… But it's not over till the Fat Lady sings (or maybe cries...)
-
There should be someone crying out there in the UK as I just saw an English fan drinking a Budweiser in the stands…
-
Hey England…..
-
Dunno if this will work, but this is what I'm listening to…
-
And the US is looking good!!! England should be ashamed of themselves. Algeria is awful!!!! Watch how it is done on Tuesday!
-
USA's leading the tiebreaker…
