IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
Well, I think I'm going to send in my jeans this coming week somewhere. I've heard lots of suggestions on the ol' world wide web but I guy pointed me towards a spot located north of the boarder so I'm considering them. Anyone have any experience getting repairs or alterations at http://lovemeblue.com? Other contenders are schaeffers, denim doctor & denim therapy but those are all located in the U.S. & U.K. I wish I had enough for a damn new pair but I still wouldn't let me original pair go, I nearly got killed in those jeans one night lol. Push comes to shove, I'll be coming up with a creative recycled denim project I suppose lol.
Edit: Was just looking at the gallery on the denimdoctor site, it seems like the guy can almost repair anything.
Some crazy repairs for sure. -
Hi guys, I am new to Iron Heart and I am deciding on whether to get the Beatle Buster or the 666. Which one is slimmer? And I am not sure whether I should get a size 28 or a size 29 because I wear size 28 for my unsanforized PBJ XX-011 and size 29 for my sanforized Japan Blue x Momotaro 0100SP. Hope someone can help me, thanks!

Maximum shrinkage comes from agitation, so go with the machine wash.

G'damn Jeff! Your looking great buddy!

Well boys, looking like I'll be breakin in a new pair of these in a few weeks, thanks to Giles & the whole IR team. Can't friggin wait! Depressing part: trying on my now ripped-up 666S and realizing I've gained enough weight over the summer that I might need to size up one… damn why does beer need to taste so delicious!?

@CLJ:
Did you soak or machine wash them? Debating on hot soaking or a warm/hot wash (light cycle to agitate) for max shrinking out of the bag.
I put them in a tub of pretty hot water for an hour and a half ish, weighed down with plastic bags filled with hot water and they seemed to get the shrink out of them, that being noted I am a size 31 in 634s and went with 30 for these because the larger waist size in the newer batch let me try to sneak a size down for a super slim look :D.
Fit pics later today.

How different are the measurements on the new batch? I went for a size 30 on my last pair but those were purchased last summer.
Edit:
Scrollin through the thread and saw this.
@Hemi:Damn that's a dope jacket & photo. Is this available on the US market? My daily jacket (when its not hot enough) is the perfecto her2 from barney's. Got it at a warehouse sail and fell in love with Schott jackets. Definitely would like to cop a couple more.
