…AND HERE I WAS ALL DAY CUSSING APPLE AGAIN.... and then I see this thread.... I switched it back to regular screen mode. Not really diggin how it stretched all my pictures to weird sizes or the navigation, but appreciate the efforts involved to try to give us a better experience nonetheless.

No bueno. Please tell me there's a way to have it default to the desktop version. This will drive me crazy.

Other than that sending pm's didn't work properly with me, there's nothing wrong with it imo, i guess it's just a matter of preference.
I tend to use the desktop mode on all forums i'm active on, there are a number of sites on which the mobile version functionality is truly horrible.
Appreciate the effort, and i'm sure there are lots of users who welcome this new theme, when people have nothing to complain you just don't hear them i guess. -
^This. As long as I can opt out once and not every time (and it appears I can), then I have no problem with it. It might make more sense on a smartphone, but I usually access the forum on an iPad, and the desktop version is fine on a tablet. The mobile version just seems annoying IMHO, but I'm sure it makes more sense on a smartphone.

When sending PMs through Tapatak, half the time it doesn't actually send the PM. It either gives a connection error, or it takes you back to the PM you were trying to reply to, but it didn't send the response…
I'm not sure that's what you're discussing, and this is of course not a problem you can fix, shoque, but maybe that's what Mich meant?..

We were discussing the new mobile theme when you visit the ih forum via browser on smartphone/tablet.
Regarding Tapatalk, installed an update a few days ago, might have been fixed, but they dont give you a log of what changed so I cannot say for sure. I gave up on error reporting because all they say is it works on their end, not a bug….

Thanks for the feedback.
@Mich: What exactly happened when you wanted to send a PM?
When i hit the 'send' button i got 'page:blank' a full white page and that was it, i could go back by hitting the back button on my browser, message was still there.
Tried to re-send several times, same result. After replying to the pm on my desktop pc i found out the message i had sent via the mobile site had been sent after all, only once so not several times like you would expect because i'd hit the 'send' button about 4 times.
Hope this is of any help for you to try and solve it. -
Never had that problem, or the one with the PMs. I've always used Android, so maybe it's only an Apple issue?
