This is the triple chainstitch head that does all of our triple stitching….
This bit I found mind boggling. Not all thread that is ostensibly the same, is actually exactly the same from batch to batch or spin to spin. The threads may have different roughnesses, so this little device allows the operator to adjust the pre-needle friction on each thread, so when the 3 threads get to the needles, they are at exactly the same tension….
