Don't Mourn, Organize! Leather Goods by Scott Willis
-
Just sent Scott an email requesting a few custom items.
After looking through a bunch of options (FH, Red Moon, Obbi Good Label New, LeatherGoodsConnection), I think I made the right choice. It's awesome having so many options and knowing everything is custom and made to order is really cool. Getting a short "Red Moon" style wallet with coin pocket/three card slots with a built in chain ring like on the FH/WC wallet. The wallets going to be Horween natural horse butt with Horween cordovan details. Also ordered a new lanyard to go with it and a 15oz natural tan belt to go with it. Can't wait to find out if all of this is possible.
This is going to be my first proper leather wallet and can't wait to start breaking it in.
Too bad there won't be much to put into the wallet after paying for it lol. -

These are on their way. Scott sent the picture last light. If you look to the left on the second picture of Mr. Dead's wallet you'll see a glimpse of my belts. Scott has been busy this week for IH Forum members.

Great looking belts. The buckle and stitching on the top belt is outstanding.

Thanks Summ3rhays. Will post more pics when they show up.
Mr. Dead - yes small world. And I'm thinking I should commission a wallet from Scott after seeing the many great examples, including yours.

Does anyone else having problems accessing the don't mourn organize webpage? My virusscaner allways blocks it, saying it got virus code in it: Script.Packed.Agent.F@susp (Engine
That happened to me the other day as well. I thought it was a work thing, but I tried again right after and it worked.

Today I picked up the two belts I ordered from Scott at the customs office (greedy bastards ).
Both belts are 1,75" wide and made out of harness leather. Because of the width and some other circumstances I could only choose from 4 different buckles and decided to go for brass with a stainless tongue. These you can see in the first two pictures.
After ordering the belts from Scott I decided to get myself some other buckles to switch the brass ones out, to see if I like a stainless buckle better.
Comunicating with Scott was allways pleasant. Sometimes it took him a few days to answer an e-mail, but as far as I know he runs a one man show and has a job besides making belts, so I realy didn't mind.
The belts are great and even more massive then I expected them to be. They will shurely last a lifetime or two. After switching the buckles I gave the tan one a very thin rub down with elephant leather preserver, which darkened the leather a little bit and gave it a more worn in color, which I like very much. Doing my research for these two belts I found a lot of other leather / buckle / with combinations I liked very much, so I might order again from Scott in the near future.
