Thank you. Yes, I'm a bit bored of the very wide cuts, so I hope the UES will be perfect. Had to get used to the 555, but I definitely grew on me.

@ riff: I got me some RW ice cutters too, so warm and comfy, well build boot. I love the red wool lining and the norwegian welt. They are much nicer in real live, than on pics.

totally agree chuck. these are the first red wings i've ever had that didn't need to break in. they were comfortable right out of the box.
