I find the Jelado flannels very interesting. They are no nonsense takes on vintage flannels. Fabric quality/patterns look very similar to Frostproof/Five Brother post WWII. Styling is very similar to Five Brother. (UES look just like vintage Frostproof)
Edit: Fit is obviously changed (for the better)

Someone in the US please buy me that flannel and ship it to me. Obviously I will pay

haha.. what have I started

Hopefully the start of someone buying me this shirt

I'm surprised people aren't into the Jelado flannels.
To my eye, there's a heavy vertical flow to the shirts which is pretty uneven to start, that gets me a little twitchy. Then the pockets go against the flow and none of the colours quite line up, it's game over man.
I get it, your more into the 20's-30's look, ala Mr. Freedom. This is the strong 60's vibe. Must be too much smoke for you. Personally, I'm into shirts, not blouses, but that's me.

ALL HAIL THE CHAOTIC UNIVERSE - EMBRACE IT SNOW!..
Just can't do it man. We live in a chaotic world, granted, the very little bit I can bring to order, I do my damndest to make it so.
@Mike, You said you were surprised people aren't into them, I gave you a reason why I'm not into them. No need for pot shots..

If you don't have anything good to say, don't say it. I thought that's it goes around here.
There is plenty of "smoke" in a 30s aesthetic brosef. Don't you think?

I agree with snowy. What's really strange is that I'm a sucker for flannels but some patterns just don't do it for me at all, like that jelado one. And it's not the discontinuity or whatever, weird…
Off topic but I tried on a vintage flannel at mister freedom that I saw later as a UES shirt. Does anyone else think that's weird to see two exact vintage flannels recreated by Japanese companies or are there just that few flannels out here?

Such a complex debate when all that is really needed (as with all products by all brands) is simply to mention "it's not really my style". Any other comment is more about the individual style of the person debating than the item being discussed surely?
Basically some people like them, some don't. I think the same thing can be said about just about anything that's been made by anyone, ever.
