IH-555-03 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Jeans - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
-
Got them in too late for pics, I'll put them up tomorrow. Gotta thank my contrarian grandfather, who put a new pair of jeans for me in his will!
After some more email-based advice, I went with the 28, glad I did. They are WAY tight (I will certainly be suffering at first), but the waist is on point, and the knee and thigh are gonna stretch out perfectly. Anyone have any tips on expanding the calf at all? I have some ideas myself but just curious if anyone's ever really tried to do something like that; I'm going to try to get it maybe just a quarter inch looser so it's not too "fitted-to-legging" down the leg once they're broken in.

Sleep in them a few nights and the calf with stretch

I gave mine a cold soak, it'll soften the denim and make them feel more comfy. I thought the calves were much too tight in the beginning and the knees did hurt, but that's all over now.
-
Right, it will feel stiff after the soak, so wearing them dry might be a good hint.

Totally breaking my company's policy and wearing these through the next week. They're already super comfy, most compliments in my life on a pair of jeans! No one at university has a pair of IH (the Charlotte metro area isn't really huge on selvedge unfortunately). Sorry about the outburst, just an appreciation post

If you want to stay similar thigh up and pretty much just increase from knee down slightly, then I think a 666 is going to be your best bet. The rise is a little higher at 10.5 but the knee would be about 8 depending which model you choose and the hem around 7.5. Sadly no SBG though

I have the 33w in these, and they are as big as I would want to go top block wise, and the measurements of your apc ps look tighter than I would prefer to go in the top block. Take that for what it's worth.

So maybe just right?
The APCs are a bit tight in the top block, nothing a bit of stretching hasn't fixed. The rise is super low though, so I'm certainly looking for something that doesn't give me plumbers crack all the time.
Any chance you can give me some measurements of yours as they've stretched out?
