IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

You're right man, but I really prefer a tight (not necessarily skinny) look, and I have such absurd chicken legs below the knee that I need small hem openings. 8.3 inch on a 31 waist is a bit big; my 666s has shrink down to 7.3. This is a big difference.

I was pretty nervous to get the 666XHS due to the wider leg opening. I've got three pairs of 555s and a pair of the 666od, but none of them are quite as wide legged as the XHS.
Buuuttt… once I got my hands on the 666XHS, I haven't let them go. Honestly, I've worn them every day since getting them. I'm sure I'll find a new love at some point but I can safely say the 25oz'ers is the first pair that I thought to myself "This is the last pair of jeans I'll ever buy." Of course, I know thats far, far from the truth, but it was a nice thought. -
Buy them…wear'em...often....with boots or sneaks....you will love them....any more questions :)...I'm just going from experience....mine of course....yours might be different, but I doubt it

Hi peeps the 666 24oz fits diff from the 666s? Hows this so?

Different denim = different fit. They try to anticipate how the denim will behave and compensate for any variations, but it doesn't always work out.
-
So its slimmer?

People think that we know the post shrink/stretch measurements for every pair of jeans that have ever been made. Unfortunately we don't. And if we guess and get it wrong, we all end up being disappointed. So this is why we did this:

@PSB:
Hey Haddtoo,
How did you manage stretching the thighs? Just from wear?
The thighs on drastically downsized 666XHS must be brutal.
Thighs were the worst thing about getting them wet. I just put them on damp, if I waited till dry, forget about it. I'll be able to soak the 32's without worry.

Been wearing my IH-666-XHS's for a couple of days so far. I've gotta say I have massive respect for this denim. It's been biting me on my hips, thighs and backs of the knees a bit, I will admit. I'm sure once they're broken in that they will be super awesome.
I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, and I know that they will stretch out over time naturally with use, but I was curious if any of you XHS veterans can give me any specific suggestions or strategies on how to stretch the front and back pockets a bit. I can feel the waist stretching already, but the pockets are super tight. Is there anything you do to the pockets to help speed up the process and make them looser?
Cheers
