Does the 21oz black selvedge stretch in a similar way to the flagship 21? From experience black denim doesn't give as much as indigo.

So from what I gather from a previous thread on this denim, it is woven on the same loom as the signature denim. I would imagine this means it would behave about the same, although I could be wrong.

It should behave in the same way as the 21oz indigo.  It does not matter what colour the warp is, it is the twill weave that causes the stretch.
