Shuron, Persol, Dita, and Masunaga should have some frames like that.

@rocket have you seen the Hapters in person? If, so, can you post your thoughts/impressions in the sunglasses thread?
I have and I think I will get a pair at some point.
They are really light weight and comfortable to wear. Building quality is on a excellent level, complete screwless design made out of surgical steel, coated with a water repellant textile fabric from Cerruti.

price point is around 350-400 Euro for the sunglasses frames and 400-450 Euro for the optical frames
small note: if you like to hang your shades on a tee, etc when not wearing, you need to know that it will not work with these, because of the hingeless design…. same with just folding these, does only work with the small strap that comes with them....
and for glazing one of the frames with your RX, you will need at least 1.6 index lenses, because of the design...
more info, pics, etc...

^Thanks! It makes sense that the glasses would naturally stay "open" or almost open. I could get used to not being able to hang them on a tee as I tend to use a pocket or case for my sunglasses. They are $475 US from the only place I've found online that ships to the US which is definitely on the high side. Still on my radar though.

I agree, it would be nice to try them on before ordering. I sent them an email about a US distributor and a few technical questions.
