IH-1955-UHR - Ultra Heavy Raw 1955 Cut

No, I meant 56 years - shouldn't it be 5-6 years?
-
with one little typo you created a lot old history…and then tore it down again

Patch looks awesome, great job VO. Can't wait to see these out in the wild so we can get to the 666 . . .

Remember that this denim is loomstate, There will be an inch or so shrinkage in the waist and a couple of inches of shrinkage in the inseam after soaking//washing. We urge you to soak/wash these jeans before wearing, the denim is so abrasive (when new) you are very likely to pop the constructional stitching if you do not bed it into the denim by soaking.

These look very nice indeed, I am very tempted as the size 34 looks perfect. Also, thanks for putting a decent front rise on them.
-
I am inclined to size down 1 inch from the tagged size which will give me my actual 'normal' Iron Heart size and then let the waist, shrunk after soaking/washing, stretch back up again. There should be plenty of rise and room in the thigh and knee to allow for shrinkage there.
-
Probably about 1/2 inch, I'd expect.

The sizing looks pretty good on these for myself….kinda. Right in between 36 and 38. But scurd of the hem. What do u think they will loose, 1.5-2"??
-
Exciting!
Curious if SelfEdge will stock these (or any of the UHR) by any chance?
Only reason I ask is I have a bit of credit sitting over there… -
I'm aiming for that 31! A long shot question but any idea how much it'll shrink around the thigh area?
Horizontal shrinkage is always a function of the shrinkage you get in the waist. So if we get 1" shrinkage and the waist is 30, that is about 3%, so you will get about 3" in the thigh and the cuff.
By the same token, vertical shrinkage is a function of the shrinkage in the inseam.

About 2 inches - see sizing post above
