Here are some assorted detail pics when they were still raw

and one more…
The search for my holy grail has finally found its end. 5 years after the Denime contest I found a pair of 66XX in size 36 in BNWT condition. As the Denime 66XX was my first real pair of Japanese jeans from a Japanese brand, it feels like coming home!
-
And those are fantastic!
-
Thanks! And I am really happy. They stopped producing the 66XX in that form in 2009 or 2010 and they sold fast then…I am so glad I could finally pick up a pair in my right size. I own a size 34 from the Denime contest from 5 years ago but they shrank too much over time

Those do look great b_F… Wow. Perfect on you sir

Great!

I wouldn't change a thing Flash!
How did you size compared with IH? Have me eye on a pair but the tech specs re shrinkage make me wonder if tts is the way to approach?
-
Thanks Flash.
Naw, I like your fit so i guess that's the way I'd go and we're pretty similar build wise.
Enjoy 'em!
-
As I said on Sufu and via phone: great fit! And I am sure you will enjoy Denime!

What's the difference between the Lot 66 and the 66XX please? Any idea?
Cheers -
The top block fits very nicely indeed! And no way would I get them hemmed. Not only does the double cuff look fine, but you often sell your used jeans -not uncommonly to me… :)- and will both increase their resell-value AND make the purchaser happier by leaving their inseam as it is.
