Yesterday was very exciting, I decided to get my first custom jeans. I had this idea for a while now and it´s so easy here in Dresden because Mr. Ruttloff, a Jeans artisan, is located 10 minutes from my door. I first met him a year ago and since then he is getting better and better. And now I have the confidence that he will satisfy my expectations. I can choose the denim, the thread colour, and all other details.
Specs:
-selvage buttonfly
-two tone stitching
-beltloops sewn into waistband
-half lined back pockets
-peek a boo coin pocket
-hidden rivets
First we take a look at the WT jeans and my Eternals.
Searching for the right roll.
Discussing the details.
I choose a 13oz two tone selvage denim.
Finally the thread colour, two tone stitching, for sure.
In the end we cut off my FH 3009 into shorts. Pics of the result tomorrow.
