IHVB-04-b-o-t - Iron Heart/Viberg 1950's Service Boot in Brown Oil Tan

Maybe it´s my weird right foot.My right heel rubs the lower part of the counter more than my left foot, judging by the wearing spot on the inside of the shoe. The stiffness of the material is not forgiving.I hope this goes away with more wear. Maybe I can solve this with thicker socks for long walks,..

It took me about two months for my Vibergs to adjust to my feet (and only had an issue with the right foot as well)… So hang in there...
Two months eh .. After a one day rest, I´m wearing them again for three days in a row now. I will win this fight for sure…they remain one of my favorite boots.

I just ordered these, very excited to have them. Size 6.5 UK, well, seems nobody else wears my size (been deciding to pull the trigger for a few months actually, and then forgot about them - took a look at the site yesterday and saw my size still up!), so lucky me.
Should I buy some insoles? Do these come with good ones or any at all? Never got Viberg boots before.
How long do boots like these last with good care? How often do you have them re-heeled? I'm so used to having boots basically be dead after a few years, guess I never bought anything very high quality before.
Thanks

Viberg's don't come with insoles generally. I think the consensus is they don't need a pair either, but like always, your mileage may vary.
These boots should last forever with good care. Re-heel as required. Could be yearly or 5+ years, depending on how you wear them down. I don't think anyone in this thread has worn them down yet..
Congrats and Enjoy!

News of the upcoming Ironheart summer sale has me looking at some boots… Curious whether anyone can post pics of these brown oil tans with some real wear -- or another Viberg boot on the same leather for that matter. (Also be interested in pics of the W & Anchor work shoes with wear, though I know this is the Viberg thread.)
