DWCxUHR - Denim World Championship Ultra Heavy Raws…
-
Thanks a lot Giles. I wanted to try the UHR but was wary of the cut. These should be perfect.
-
These will be my first pair of Beatle Busters. Really looking forward to them. Can't think of a better pair to start with than these competition ones.

Hey Giles,
Maybe it's too early for this, but would it make sense to have a link to this thread on the product page for these jeans? The standard "see product discussed in the forum" kind of thing. Just to keep everything together? -
These will be my first pair of Beatle Busters.
@deanclean
I don't know what your body type is…(mine is thick and husky). But, the MBBs are my favorite, most comfortable cut yet. The higher rise keeps my butt in check when sitting and the legs are slimmer without being bulky. Also, the higher rise causes really cool folds and whiskers to occur in the top block. I see this happening in my pair already, after 3 days of wear. But have a look at Fanya's pair to see what I mean.Not to mention, I think this is the first time the MBBs have been offered in the UHR denim, and at $100 off the regular sticker price. It's a great deal.

Thanks for the info on these jeans. I'm a pretty big guy too. (6'2", 205lbs). I was a little worried that they would be too "skinny" for me, but after taking some measurements they look like they will be perfect.
-
@deanclean I'm 5'10" and 235 lbs and these do the trick. Actually even the IH-555s fit me okay. The 666 cut for me seemed a little too short and too slim in the thighs. The thighs were skin tight when sitting, but the waist stretched out to be 2 inches too big. I was always pulling up my pants.
The MBBs are much tighter in the waist, but roomier in the thighs. Perfect for the "huskier" guy. After 2 days wear the waist is perfect and they stay up even without a belt. These are absolutely the best fit I have ever had in a pair of jeans.
Also, @Broark if you are looking for something heavy that works in the Texas heat, the 25 oz. denim has been great all over the globe. I work in Deer Park and Houston, Texas all the time. They were even manageable in the jungle of Colombia. (I am more of the sadomasochistic variety though).

hey i am going to order tomorrow ( tried tonight but international restriction on my cards) and am a 34 inseam what size should i ask for the hem to get 34 after wash??

So glad they are the BB cut again. I liked the look of the UHR and this became a no brainier.

How well does this denim breathe? I really don't need more jeans but I'm very interested in this denim and cut, just worried it may be too much for me to deal with in Florida. For example the Self Edge x IH collab with the 20 oz left hand twill denim was too much for me, but the Samurai 19 oz denim was fine. Just curious how it compares.
