That's crazy. Thanks for the insight.
-
So many JP denim heavyweights in those bar pictures. Looks like good company…
-
why does this year's event doesnt feel that packed? i remember it being much more crowded last year.
-
Fantastic pics, this event is definitely added to my "must do" list.

Looks more nicely spaced out this year IMO. Last year's photos look like a more crowded space, this year looks like each vendor has more space…which is a good thing

There were 3 or 4 less brands here this year. It made a massive difference. We got more than 2 times the area that we had last year (partly because we all realised we needed it) We still did not have enough space but now I'm getting greedy
Tentatively agreed with Chnanon today that an event for Iron Heart once per year is not enough, we will do an intermediate Iron Heart only party.
It will be in both Bangkok and for the first time Chiang Mai

It is totally amazing. It's the only place outside of Japan that you will see this lot together socially. And it is seriously special, because they don't feel the need to position themselves (if you know what I mean), they let their hair down and really enjoy each others company.
I overheard 2 of the big boys comparing notes on the problems they were having with their production. Simply unheard of…

My rough sums make it 2x as busy…..
-
@Haraki-san , @TOMBOY , @Sarina , @sudo & @Madame Buttonfly are in there somewhere….
Piles of bought stuff. Buyers have to go to a central point and pay and then come back to pick up their stuff….
-
And then of course there is the obligatory, "get up on the big stage and make an arse of yourself"…...
Pre event discussion:
G "Haraki, do you want to say anything
H "No"
G "Thanks partner!"This year, I decided I wanted to get the crowd rowdy, this is my "Good Evening Bangkok", done Robin Williams styley routine....
You may notice a cool Japanese dude in shades, saying fuck all in, the background…....

Interesting photos Giles especially the salt works. It's 30F and snow on the ground here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in case you're up for a little schadenfreude…
@steelworker such a great time here but I am excited about getting home to cold weather (well by our standards, certainly nowhere near freezing!) The contrast of high rise, swish hotels and shopping malls and the backstreet sights of our cycle tours was quite something.
