IHVB-04-b-o-t - Iron Heart/Viberg 1950's Service Boot in Brown Oil Tan
-
thanks!
received them nearly a year ago,
and wore them pretty much the whole summer.
-
Wow, thanks a ton, Steffen! I knew your pair looked very worn, though it also seems to prove my point, that the leather itself doesn't "age" fast (compared to my RW 8111 for example, that show every scuff and mark). Great Pictures!

The IHVB-04-b-o-t Boots are absolute beauties !!!
Coming late to Iron Heart and even later to the Iron Heart Forum, it's apparent that I've missed the opportunity to acquire a new pair of IHVB-04-b-o-t boots.
In fact, it seems more likely to see @Giles dressed from head to toe in FUBU, walking through the centre of Gosport, than a new pair of IHVB-04-b-o-t boots to surface in a size 9.
Can anyone help a guy acquire a pre-loved pair of IHVB-04-b-o-t in a UK9?

I have found a pair of IHVB-03CT in a UK9.5. Cheers @Giles

Even though I managed to acquire a pair of IHVB-03CT's, cheers Giles, your IHVB-04-b-o-t look wicked @max power and leave me still hankering for a pair.

Mine ..one year old. Only sign of wear is on the heels.
I fear the day I have to resole these. I don´t think there are capable cobblers in the Netherlands who can do the job right, to be honest.
Hi, I am in the same boat, 2 pair of Vibergs and a pair of Wesco Boots and I have no idea where to have them resoled one day. Too bad we don't have artisans like Brian the Bootmaker here in Europe…
I showed mine to a highly acclaimed cobbler in Amsterdam who just wasn't interested in resoling them. Too much work maybe. There is a cobbler namend "Marco" in Roermond who is selling handmade boots and his workshop looks decent. Maybe I'll ask him too. This one http://www.jens-zapke.de/start.html was recommended, I will go there to show him my boots when the day has come. But if he seems to be hesitant or I should get the impression he might not know what to do, I'll send them in to Brian.

You could always get your Wesco's to me and i'll sort out the repairs…...
Wow, Giles, I didn't even think about that. You're the BEST!!!
