IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
Hello,
I usually wear a LVC 1954 in 30"
Does anyone know if the fit of the 666 is similar or slimer ?
thanks a lot

You should take measurements and compare them. But in General the 666 should have a lower rise, slimmer legs / thighs as the 1954 LVC.

thanks a lotIt’s virtually impossible for us to judge the size you need from the tag sizes of other brands. The best way to select your size is to check actual measurements of a pair of jeans (or other pants) that fit you well, you need to measure the way we do, to get a proper comparison. Then compare these dimensions with the detailed measurements given on each Iron Heart product page (please click on the”Sizing” tab). Sizing on Iron Heart jeans is generally “True to Size” (TTS), but this varies so it’s important to check the measurements for the specific model you are looking at.

ahaha
You're everywhere !

I received my size 30 in the mail just last week. Thanks @Winchy for finding me the perfect size! Fit like a dream, no longer hanging off my ass, yet not painfully tight. So psyched to finally have a proper fit.

Super news. Enjoy!

This is one of the most hardcore broken in jeans I have ever seen in my live
Just pure raw denim love given to them.
I admire this strongest denim evolution you put in to them and how far you went by breaking them in.
Be sure to keep them alive for ever and never ever throwing them away.
Otherwise let me know before.
I really hope I could see them in real some day -
Did I read somewhere that the 666 cut was going to be available in the 21 oz denim or was I hallucinating again?
-
Are these going to be the same as the IHxRH colabs (minus patch obviously)? If so then they are fabulous.

Gents, I'm looking for a little help with sizing on the 666s.
Up until about a year ago, I had no idea what selvedge denim was. Started to wade into the waters via a KS brand. Now I really want to try IH denim. My preference is for a slimmer cut.
I measured a pair of denim that fit me pretty well after around 15 wears:
Waist: 17.5" / 44cm
Rise: 10.5" / 27cm
Thigh: 12.25" / 31cm
Knee: 8.5" / 21cm
Hem: 8" / 20cmI originally emailed Giles asking if the 33 or 34 would be a better fit based on the above and was told I probably wouldn't even be able to get into the 33. Since then, I have reread the description on the site more closely and now realize the 666s are unsanforized - making me wonder if even the 34 might be too small. I've never worn unsanforized before and have no idea how these might shrink when water hits them.
Based on the measurements above, do you guys think a 34 will work? If they only shrink an inch in the waist, I should be good to go. Plus, I am hoping the 8.5" hem will shrink as well.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Based on those measurements I would try a 555-01 or 02 in a 34 waist.
-
Thanks Megatron. I thought about the 555 but am afraid, being unsanforized, these would be almost too slim. The hem is pretty small on the 34 (7.8") given that it would shrink smaller with a wash.
I keep eyeing the 666s to try a bit of a different cut. The site says they'll go down 1" in the waist and I think I'll be fine with a 34" waist, especially with a higher rise (11.5"). How much can I expect to see with the other measurements? For example, the hem on the 34 is 8.5" pre-wash; what should I expect after a soak?

The IH-555-01 are sanforised. The IH-555-02 are unsanforised.
-
There are no IH-666S with a 34" waist at the moment - take a look at the sizing table
