Have you looked at the IH 707? They aren't skinny but at least on me are a slimmer fit. I had the Stevenson Hilts and the construction is very good but they ended up being too slim in the thigh for me which was a total bummer.

Thanks for all the great suggestions guys.
Blueblankets look good on you although I think I'm looking for something skinnier/slimmer. Thanks for the pics though. Looking great as usual.
Same thing with the IH-707. I was hoping to find something a little slimmer/skinnier. Stevenson is the leading contender for me at the moment although at Mega's suggestion I'm also looking at Left Field. I don't suppose you have any photos of you in the Stevenson's?

Sure, here is a horrible pic of me in them:
And a much better pic of Mike wearing them:

Cool. That's the look I was hoping to get. Shame the thighs didn't work out for you as I reckon they look great on you. I noticed that Self Edge have them in stock. @Anesthetist Any advice on sizing? I figured just go for my regular waist size.

I think it all depends on your build. I went TTS and found everything from the block down to be fitted and at point too snug. For me, I would go up but I do a lot of squats, etc. if you have slimmer legs TTS would be good I think. They are nice quality pants, I think you will like them.

Left Field's website is showing sold out in my size. Will keep looking but in the meantime am open to other suggestions for any slim fit chinos…
Rogue territory and Stevenson both make nice slim fit chinos @Qinhan
I'll echo on the Stevenson chinos. I have a pair and they are absolutely brilliant

Thx Chris!
If you're lucky, @pillowPANTS, you might find a pair for cheap at 6pm.com. I just snagged a pair for twelve bucks.

Haha. Thats where i was looking Chris. Thinkin about tryin em out, and $11.99 isnt too bad of a gamble lol
Thx man! -
Just realized they don't ship outside the US, and you're in the 51st state. Let me know if you need a proxy…

@Qinhan, I stumbled across some IH tapered chinos in the Spring/Summer 2015 Pipeline thread. They are 11oz West Point Selvedge cotton, and come in khaki, beige, and navy. You'll find them in the Dropbox link G posted halfway-down page 6. I would post it here, but it's in the "Member's Area," which would probably defeats its purpose (I'll PM the link, too).

They look good on you too. Thanks for the suggestion.

Interesting. Thanks for pointing this out. Another option to consider although these look like they are tapered without being particularly slim, which was what I was looking for.

This is why Chris is consistently one of the forum's best guys… It goes unnoticed, most of the time, unless you're the one benefitting from his generosity... Thanks, Chris... Cranks...

Question for English shoe experts. I was in Debenhams with the wife (yeh, yeh…), and I picked up a pair of Jasper Conran boots with what looked like a Vibram Chrisy sole on them. Imagine my surprise to find that not only was it a Vibram sole but also the boots were ridiculously heavy, looked really well made and were stamped as "Made in England". Does Jasper Conran have a deal with any of the better known English shoe makers to make their boots?
They were brown brogues and looked like the Trickers x Present collaborations, or the Grenson style wedge sole boots (Fred?). Any ideas guys? Took my attention because they were below £70 on offer.

Some years ago I had some of the Grenson boots, and a pair of the Trickers collabs. I am certainly no expert of English footwear but the quality of these looked comparable. Having said that, the uppers on the Grenson were made in India and attached to the sole in the UK.
A little Googling has lead me to find a series of footwear which Loake did for JC….wondering if these boots could be a part of that relationship.
