great pics mate @urbanwoodsman …thanks a ton again for showing me around the city and helping me spending money and getting fat!
btw. y'all...whoever is in the NY area, you definitely have to me up with Shane! he's such a great dude to hang out with and he definitely knows his city! took me to all the good places on my first day of visit...and Peter Luger was so fucking good (pics will follow!), that I can't even recommend it enough when you're in town!
same goes for @derivative666 btw. …Jeff's awesome people as well! had some great times yesterday!
went for a beer in a very "nice" place (it really had sth. cool!)
…more pics to follow!
my asshole friends just told me about duff's… i wanted to punch them for not taking me sooner

well guess what…i'm coming back guys
the dates aren't clear yet, but right now it looks like i'll be flying in in the middle of may (something around the 15th or so) and leave in the middle of june...so all in all i'm coming for another 4 weeks vacation
right now it's planed to do the following:
1week virginia beach
1 week nyc
1-1.5 week bay area (la, sf, ...)
0.5-1 week nycwhen visiting the bay area, me and my cousin might drive the following route:
do any of you guys have any recommendations about the trip? "must see" places? things we need to checkout? places we need to visit? the route in general? etc.
any help and ideas are much appreciated!
thanks a ton in advance…cheers, R. -
Great news you and Urb will come up by me for the weekend and we will do some hiking and some bbq
-
@Finn666 take Highway 1 down to LA, rather than 101. It hugs the coast, so will be a more scenic route, and it involves really cool bridges…
You could drop in on Hearst Castle, which was the inspiration for Citizen Kane's Xanadu.
-
Second that. Did that route in my early 20's with mates and it was one of the best trips I have ever done.
-
As someone who has driven both routes, I must say that the 1 is incredible. Definitely the more memorable route. Still, you should know that sections are quite winding, and it is slow going at times.

we'll def. meet up again mate! already looking forward to it
i'm mostly on my own during one week in may (26th-30th), so during that week a meet up would be the best i'd say!@Finn666 take Highway 1 down to LA, rather than 101. It hugs the coast, so will be a more scenic route, and it involves really cool bridges…

god damn @Graeme thanks a ton for the hint. def. gonna take the 1 instead of the 101!
finalizing the final route is kinda hard though ^^Finn - let me know once you finalize your dates for SF. I can show you around if it works out!
