Sounds like a good build @JCMx800 I'm jealous!
You can wear engineers, I am the jealous person

Anyone can wear engineers!
Actually my back has been all f-ed up so no engineers for me
They really dont suit me.
Strange, my back hurts when I wear Vans over a too long time and my back feels good when I put on my boots. -
It looks a little bit off, you are right. I choosed single midsole and the black tie domain, 7" height, again nothing fancy, but will be a great BWC boot
I'm excited to see this combo too. Was thinking it might be nice with a 10" height. Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen any MP Packers above 8"…
Does anyone know if the Armortred or Christy soles get proportionally thicker/thinner as they go up or down in size? My Wesco boots are small, so if the thickness is consistant though all sized they might be crazy chunky.

I love the black and olive Wescos in the Thailand trip. What is wrong with me?? :o

When I was a kid I could never understand why Vans and Chucks made my feet hurt so much. It wasn't until I got my first pair of Birkenstocks, and much later, my first pair of Wescos that I truly understood how important support is to my feet (and back).

Congrats @twism_23 . I dig the color. They look amazing.

Peter, Wesco doesn't offer a shade of leather exactly like what you're looking for. Muskhaven (a Wesco dealer) offers a natural veg tanned leather that might be close. Also, if you look at pictures of smooth out Burlap that has been worn and aged (and maybe treated) it winds up looking a lot darker.

@summ3rhays thx man. Need to start wearing them more!

Thanks for providing answers, guys! I'm all about the rough out though, which I guess will evolve differently and not darken in the same way. Not a fan of dubbin either. Just checking really, still pretty keen on getting a pair of oxfords in burlap rough out when I've got the funds.
