Any chance of these in navy at some point?

Fresh outta the dryer and I'm very happy with the fit through the knee. I'm still figuring out the cuffs but otherwise they are awesome.

What size did you get Anesthetist ?

I chose my typical size which is a 33. After a wash they are close to 34" in the waist which is a tiny bit loose but I can also tuck in a shirt.

Thanks . Bet they feel really light after wearing denim most of the time .

They are substantial but super comfortable. I see myself wearing these a lot around the Holidays when jeans are a little too casual.

Just pulled the trigger on these.
I've never owned a chino because most of them are only around 32"ish in the inseam. I hope after shrinkage this one will still work for me.
Looking forward to my first chino. The pics in this thread really look promising, guys!

Chinos have arrived!
IH-707 review:
First thoughts: Sturdy well made pants with a sleek look and industrial feel.
Fabric: The fabric is stiff, dense, and shiny. It is actually the closest I’ve seen to WWII military selvedge chino fabric in color and feel. The fabric is very soft, but also feels very heavy. The color is khaki with a warmer slightly orange-ish hue. There appears to be virtually zero give in the fabric pre-wash.
Stitching: The stitching is thick poly stitching and is perfectly over-engineered as usual.
Fit: it feels like sort of a traditional khaki fit and is a bit baggy below the upper leg. They don’t look huge in the pictures and according to my family the look fine, but the feel massive pre-wash. I would like them to shrink a bit so I am washing them in hot water and I’ll post some post-wash fit pictures when they’re dry.
Construction: Belt loops are sewn into the waistband; this is a feature that I really like to see. The zipper is a solid brass Tallon that is significantly heavier than I thought it would be. I believe it’s actually the same weight zipper as is on my IH Superblack straight cut jeans. I also like the copper snap on the back pocket and single zinc button for the fly. The pocket bags are nice and thick and they’re a good size too.
Overall these are superb chino pants.

How does the chainstiched hem look compared to the original stitch? Haven't seen a chainstiched chino before.

Great fit @4c and thanks for your review!

^ Thanks metal floss and my pleasure.
Some additional notes: inseam measured exactly 36 upon arrival. I washed in hot water and dried hot. Inseam now measures exactly 35. So they appear to only shrink as much as 1’’ even with how water/air. Also, I was putting on my belt and noticed that these pants have seven belt loops which is awesome!

Did you notice any shrinkage in the waist? I'm considering a pair, but I'm worried a 34 might be too small and a 36 might be too big. How did you size these compared to other IH pants/jeans?

My size 33 IH-707's measure just a hair over 34'' post hot wash/dry. Thought I would imagine they could stretch back out to about 35'' in the waist if they were under pressure. I would watch the rise and thigh with these as I wouldn't expect any stretch in those areas. I have a pair of IHxB01 in size 34 (come in at 33'') that are snug (good snug) in the waist and at true 34'' these size 33 707's are a comfortable chino fit.
If it helps here is a fit comparison between IH-707 tag size 33 and IHxB01 tag size 34.
