http://www.spin.com/articles/sun-kil-moon-new-song-ali-spinks-2-stream/ - yup, electric guitar. The drummer from Sonic Youth is also performing, at least a few songs, on the record. Apparently they're doing some kind of collab with Jesu as well.

I've been into this kind of crust/d-beat for more than half my life, and I don't think I have ever heard something more awesome than this is. The higher pitched singers vocals are completely mind-blowing. I've been listening to this on repeat for a while now. Such ferocity and power. I can't believe I just heard about these guys last month. I only wish I knew how to speak Swedish.
(so intense, listen at your own risk)

That's a great Album. As swedish is similar to german, I can understand some of it, like gra värld / svarta tänker, all e skit etc. Full of positivity haha.
-
Can you gents recommend any other newer band like this. I've heard Anti-Cimex and the lot. But is there anything new?
-
Thanks seul. I've actually already heard Wolfbrigade.
The 2nd one, (unintelligible Swedish) is awesome. The 2nd singer sounds like Kelly Halliburton from Defiance, Resist, and Masskontroll

@Seul you might enjoy this if you've haven't already heard it. My friend Dave is the singer and songwriter. It's like a crust punk super-group. Dave used to sing in Aus-rotten too before they broke up.

Great, I always loved Aus-rotten. I had to think of Wolfpack / Wolfbrigade, Driller Killer, Disfear, Tragedy, too. But I think you might enjoy Okkultokrati, All Pigs must die as well - but you probably know them anyway. I'm sure the scandinavians here could Name a lot more underground stuff.

Thanks Max! I just checked out Okkoltokrati, and you're right… I think they are pretty great. There's definitely a Celtic Frost and Venom influence there. The singer even does the Tom G. Warrior grunt.

@TrickHell thanks brother!

@TrickHell:
It's so weird to me how many guys are into extreme music that are also into high-end denim. I guess extreme personalities tend to go to extremes. Extremely.
I remember a time where I judged records, mostly 7inches of course, by the number of songs:
2-4 songs -> Nah
5-6 songs -> ordinary old school HC stuff
7-10 songs -> could be cool!
11 songs and more -> thats my cup of (ice) tea!Only exception: 7 Minutes Of Nausea and Anal Cunt.
Slap A Ham and 625 was my religion.

@JCMx800 like this 70 songs in 40 minutes:
Cripple Bastards - Your lies in check (Full Album):
@TrickHell this is my all time fave powerviolence record:
Benümb - Soul Of The Martyr LP (Full):

@FilthyBloodJunkie - Kontrovers are another good 'un.
